abstracts, or at least my attempt at them

most people think abstract is fairly easy, splash of paint here, splash of paint there. but surprisingly enough it's hard to get people to see something or get something out of what you've done.
i used to use abstracts as a sort of palate painting, because i hated wasting paint.
here's my first one:


i don't think i've put less effort into a painting that stressed me out as much as this one did
it's beautiful, and the only abstract that i've ever sold.



this is my favorite abstract, and i still have it, i've decided that it's mine, just as well it didn't sell for 4 months, oh well.


this painting is eye pleasing, but it reminded me of wall paper and nothing particularly abstract.
or maybe it's so abstract that i don't know what i was talking about.


this painting i've buried, i don't even like it. oh well it's been recycled.
they can't all be big sellers, now i know to stay away from abstract.
