food attack!

just a quick peak of all my early food paintings, i mostly started with lolipops for halloween that truely evolved as i made more and more of them. to be honest i didn't really think it would sell at all, but i was proved wrong, three times. with such positive feed back flooding in i saw no reason to stop, and for some reason i seem to like giving vegetables faces, take that vegans!!! (hehehe just kidding)

here's the 'Haunted Pops' prototype

the faces were an accident, and i just decided to go with it and make a happy mistake. This piece sold in a day, which surprised me, cause i know i could do better... so i did.

i love it, and it sold about as quickly as the first, and i got my first commission painting because it was so popular so i made one more before the fall season to a more turkey oriented turn.
(but there's one problem with it, and i'm not going to tell, but if you see it brownie points!)

this is my favorite out of the mini series, and sold to a lovely mother whose name and location i have no clue. but she was sweet so i guess i'm a mean? oh well it's in a better place now (sigh)
more food later, i must work on stuff...and junk...and sadness.
